Members,

The 32^nd IUEC General Convention will be held in Las Vegas September 27 – October 1 this year.  The International is creating a commemorative convention book featuring all the locals.  Local 23 is gathering pictures of our officers, writing a paragraph about our local and looking for some pictures for our pages in the book.  If you have any photos from jobsites, our meetings, or past union events, please email them to me at randy.carmony@iuec23.org

Please spread the word that we have a member only area of our website that, once members sign up and get approved, will allow us to send out information more often with less expense to the local.  Just this week we finally reached 70 members signed up.  With nearly 20 percent of our membership signed up now, I plan to use this feature to send information out so the member has easier and faster access to information and updates.

Please also spread the word that we have an app for Local 23, available at the bottom of the homepage on our website https://www.iuec23.org/   It has all the information you can find on our website set up to work well on your phone.  Please spread the word and take advantage of the available information as we work to increase the number of people signed up going into negotiations for our new contract next year.
